The ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY COUNSELING is a group of professionals, interns and lay people who are trained to provide person-centered group counseling at low or no cost. Our licensed psychologists and mental health counselors train and supervise all volunteers. Knowledge acquired through our training course can be applied to your personal and professional life.

We are volunteers who work together in a democratic, therapeutic community practicing acceptance and awareness as we offer caring service for clients and each other.

The mission of the ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY COUNSELING is to promote emotional well-being and resilience in the community through providing:
bullet

Counseling at no or low cost and in a timely manner to clients who otherwise could not afford professional help

bullet

Education and training to interested persons to help people heal and grow

bullet

An opportunity for volunteers to participate in a positive service-centered community

bullet

An inspiring model of a low-cost, highly effective, all volunteer service that makes a positive difference
