The ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY COUNSELING is a group of professionals, interns and lay people who are trained to provide person-centered group counseling at low or no cost. Our licensed psychologists and mental health counselors train and supervise all volunteers. Knowledge acquired through our training course can be applied to your personal and professional life. We are volunteers who work together in a democratic, therapeutic community practicing acceptance and awareness as we offer caring service for clients and each other. We work in elementary, middle and high school settings, senior centers, Headstart preschools, Easter Seals and have all age levels of counseling groups in our office.

CREATIVE PARENTING
MENTORING
PLAY THERAPY CEU's available for SW, MHC, LMFT and Reg Play Therapists.
At the conclusion of the course, graduates are encouraged to select the type
and location of group or volunteering that they would like to do.
Graduates with educational qualifications in psychology, counseling, or
social work may volunteer as counselors. Others are encouraged to join our
counseling teams as facilitators.
As members of the ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY COUNSELING, all are welcome to be
of service through grant writing, office management, fund raising and other
activities.
Weekly supervisory meetings and ongoing training enhance skills and offer
support.
