Our Mission
The mission of the ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY
COUNSELING is to promote emotional well-being and resilience in the community
through providing:

We work in elementary, middle and high school
settings, senior centers, Headstart preschools, Easter Seals and have all age
levels of counseling groups in our office.

Weekend Workshops for CEU or RPT credits
New Volunteer Training Course to Begin:
The Association for Community Counseling is
offering a new training program
specifically for volunteers to learn how to provide counseling groups in senior
residences.
Meetings are on Wednesdays
January 20, and 27 and on February 3 and 10, 2010
from 3 to 6:00 p.m.
For volunteers working with children,
two additional workshops on Sand Play and Play Therapy,
will be held on Sunday February 3 and February 21, 2010
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fees for these trainings are on a sliding scale.

The Association for Community
Counseling (ACC) is approved by
the Florida Department of Professional Regulation to provide continuing
education to licensed mental health counselors, marriage and family
therapists, and licensed clinical social workers (Provider # BAP 49) and by
the Association for Play Therapy to offer continuing education specific to
play therapy (Provider # 99-051).
